MUA- Artiste Palette

Again I must say a delayed review *sigh* the reason is same, I am too lazy to review a palette. This beauty is with me from last year and I used it in almost every occasion, if not completely then atleast its highlighter.

Well unlike other MUA naming convention, which is usually a number. I really liked the idea that they finally gave name to every shade. The palette is in very sleek packaging, but I really missed the mirror, it would definitely added more value if it comes up with a mirror. The packaging is simple made up of plastic, which makes it less weighty and travel friendly. This single palette is enough for creating a complete face look.

The palette consists of 6 marble eye shades, 2 blushers, 1 highlighter and 1 bronzer.

from left to right: Pink Sparkle, Primrose

from left to right: Shimmer kiss, Bronzed

From left to right: PistachioMoccaIce,  Grape, ChocolateCookie

Eye Shades:

Pistachio – A very light shimmery aqua green with a deeper aqua marbling
Mocca – Shimmery white / silver toned shade with grey marbling
Ice – A bright blue shade with a light blue marbling, the only chalky shade I felt in this palette
Grape – My favourite shade! A metallic purple with blue marbling. I simply love this one, most blendable shade of the palette
Chocolate – A metallic bronze with light brown marbling
Cookie – The only matte shadow in the palette – a reddish brown with pink marbling

Pink Sparkle – A matte bright coral pink with a bit of shimmer blush
Primrose – A matte deeper pink blush though I had so much trouble swatching cause of the rough texture

Bronzed – A light to medium brown; great for contouring though it’s a bit powdery but easy to work with

Shimmer Kiss – Very shimmery light pink highlight

The look I created without using any eye shadow brush lolz, a very quick and roughly done hope you all like it.

Overall the palette is mix plate, it is neither too awesome nor bad. I overall like the palette since most of the things are good and as per its price its quite good pay off. I bought this palette from just4girls”  for 1350.

Kmes- Makeup Kit

Long awaited post, I always feel lazy to write a review about any makeup pallets, since it has so many features, making it usable yet hard to review 😀

Today the product I picked up is my long time buddy. It is another a present I received from my lovely cousin and I simply love the product.

When I received this the brand was very unknown to me and at that time I was not comfortable with using the makeup kits. But the colours it had are really cute and attractive and its a complete set that motivates me for using this 😀

The first section contains three different shades of blusher in top layer, with blush on applicator and twelve eye shades in the other part. The first section also contains the two ended brush one is sponge applicator for eye shades while other is the lip brush. It also had mascara in the empty compartment but I trough it away since it was the most lame product it had 😀

The inner of the kit contains four shades of lip colour and two shades for face powder. I literally haven’t touched the face powder section yet not even for this review 😀

Swatches for the blusher from left to right as they assembled in the kit. The most left colour is very much coral/peach, the middle one is dark shade of pink while the most right one is soft pink colour. The three variations are really nice gathered, but the blusher are very pigmented that it needs special attention while applying this lolz, if little more product get on ur cheeks then alot of struggle will be required to make it even.

Honestly speaking I dint find any difference in the three lip shades from the left side they are different variations of the same shade. The most left one is dark brownish maroon colour, the second from left is the lighter shade which makes it near to coral, the third one is very light peach while the forth one is very soft pink. The lip colours are very glossy and creamy. I applied them usually on any matte colour lipstick.

And my most favourite section of this makeup set 😀 The eye shades are very pigmented, slightly shiny and very easily blendable. The colour pay off is very good, and I love all of the twelve shades.

Overall the set is good since most of the parts are usable :D.

Happy Factor:

Variety of shades

Build able colours

Nice Eye shades

Good lip colours

Sad Factor:

Not easily available

Hard to deal with the blushers

Shades don’t have any name

Dont forget to bless me with your lovely comments, do share your views on the look i created using this palette.
