MUA- Artiste Palette

Again I must say a delayed review *sigh* the reason is same, I am too lazy to review a palette. This beauty is with me from last year and I used it in almost every occasion, if not completely then atleast its highlighter.

Well unlike other MUA naming convention, which is usually a number. I really liked the idea that they finally gave name to every shade. The palette is in very sleek packaging, but I really missed the mirror, it would definitely added more value if it comes up with a mirror. The packaging is simple made up of plastic, which makes it less weighty and travel friendly. This single palette is enough for creating a complete face look.

The palette consists of 6 marble eye shades, 2 blushers, 1 highlighter and 1 bronzer.

Eye Shades:

Pistachio – A very light shimmery aqua green with a deeper aqua marbling
Mocca – Shimmery white / silver toned shade with grey marbling
Ice – A bright blue shade with a light blue marbling, the only chalky shade I felt in this palette
Grape – My favourite shade! A metallic purple with blue marbling. I simply love this one, most blendable shade of the palette
Chocolate – A metallic bronze with light brown marbling
Cookie – The only matte shadow in the palette – a reddish brown with pink marbling

Blushers:

Pink Sparkle – A matte bright coral pink with a bit of shimmer blush
Primrose – A matte deeper pink blush though I had so much trouble swatching cause of the rough texture

Bronzer:

Bronzed – A light to medium brown; great for contouring though it’s a bit powdery but easy to work with

Highlighter:

Shimmer Kiss – Very shimmery light pink highlight

The look I created without using any eye shadow brush lolz, a very quick and roughly done hope you all like it.

MUA – Matte Perfect loose powder

I must say MUA is really getting fast in this world of beauty and its becoming choice of so many makeup artist and it deserve to be.
Today I am sharing my experience with you about the mua perfect matte loose powder translucent.

What company claims:

What I felt:

image

Lets start with the packaging, its simple white color lid with a container having the product, the name of the company and product is written in Red color font and container had holed lid so the product can come out easily. The packing I felt somehow very boring, I really likes the packing of the body shop loose powder (check review here ) but since there is a huge difference of price let’s ignore the comparison 😀

image

The holes are very small or shrunk that it’s hard to use the right amount of powder.  I need to tap at the back of the box many times to bring the powder out.
The application of the powder is smooth,  it’s shine free, looks very natural on face and absorbs oil for hours really keeping my face fresh and makeup set.
It really sets the makeup when I used it after applying the complete makeup, and it add nothing on the face just a smooth, soft and natural look and feel.
The powder is very light and easily blend able. I have acne prone skin and usually get break outs when use anything new but this worked so well.  I didn’t face any skin problem (by the grace of Allah) after using this.

I really like it and will buy it again for everyday use since its an inexpensive one and good at its job. It didn’t settle in fine lines or wrinkles, and its good for beginners who are new in this field and want to have good but budget friendly product. I would prefer it as a daily to use product.

I bought it online from just4girsl for “400 PKR”

Happy factor :

Budget friendly

Easy to use

Quickly blend

Natural look

Absord oil

Shine control

Sad factor

Need to tap at the bottom of the jar many times which annoy me some time
Packing is boring

Hi all,

This time its MUA(Makeup academy ) Lipstick in shade 10. As the image shows I too bought it assuming the colour to be deep Red or Maroon. But the colour was a 360 turn 😀

The shade is neither maroon nor red 😦 I felt it somewhere similar to the shade I have in diana of london (check review here) with a extra shine.

Well the colour instantly give a fresh look and suits well to my skin tone I somehow didn’t like its smell and packaging. Its smooth and glossy, shiny lipstick, which is suitable for night time in winters. I personally don’t like shiny lip colours in summers. The lasting power is not so good as the colour begin to fade out after an hour.

Well the good part is it have a detachable bottom part 😀 A small container that can be separated from the whole lipstick and you can take it wherever you want 🙂

Its nice inexpensive lipstick which can be use as daily wear, as it cost you nothing but around 200 Rs. So even with its not so good lasting power the price I think compensate that.

The lipstick is available online as MUA products are not available on the stores in Pakistan, so better to check out the reviews and swatches before placing an order, cause in my case the shade was entirely different from its colour shown. I recommend this product as its good to use and not so heavy on pocket too. I will definitely buy this again for a different shade.

Happy Factor:

Inexpensive

Healthy shine

Nice shade

Sad Factor

Smells not good

Lasting power is for about an hour
